More Passover and Others

Here's from Passover! Lars loved gefilte fish AND matzah! We had such a fun time with the Schwartz family and others at Lake Harriet.

These were all taken around March. The picture of the three of us is from Lars' third birthday and its really the only picture of us together! You can see Lars in his first pair of Yo Gabba Gabba big-boy underwear! He's doing amazing at potty training. Felix is 6 Today!

Dear Felix,

You are a big boy now and I guess that means that you and Lars' blog needs to be written in my words, not the words I'd like to think the two of you are thinking. Although its very cute to think of you two authoring a blog together, the time has come for me to do a little growing up, just like you are doing.

There are pictures that have sat on my desktop of you and your brother at Passover Seder with the Schwartz family and me, that I've been meaning to post for months. I will do it as soon as I wish you a very happy birthday.

6 years ago at 5:12pm I swear the world stopped for a second so I could watch you take your first real breath. It was only me & you. Sometimes I feel so far away from you but you & your brother changed my life forever. My only hope is that you grow up & know that you are loved by me. Every day I pray that I become a better mother, the best mother I can possibly be. I'm trying. I am not always as patient as I would like to be, and sometimes how well-behaved you guys are lends itself to me thinking you're more grown up than you actually are. Things are hard for Mama and when you're both with me, I'm all alone. I know you have all the love, support, resources and family you could ever need when you are with your dad but the bond I share with you and your brother, its unbreakable to me. I have no choice but to love you and even if I had a choice I'd never stop.

Nickelodeon Universe!

Mommy has been really bad about updating our blog!

Today we went to Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America. We met Spongebob Squarepants, Patrick Star, Diego and Dora! I posed for pictures with them all but Felix didn't want to.



We have lots more photos to post (we just had Passover Seder at Lake Harriet with Wendy Schwartz and her family) and it was fun! I love gefilte fish! No, really... I do!! But for now its bedtime!

On Monday, Mama and I went to a coffee shop in Uptown called The Beat, and I got some Naked Juice. Oh, how I love juice...

Operation Sleepover Was a Success!

Its me, Felix!

Lars and I spent the night at Mama's new house for the first time last night. We were such good boys and went to bed so nice. I slept in Mama's bed, since I'm used to sleeping in my own room, and Mama and Lars slept in the living room. I slept through the night, and Lars only woke up once for a minute to make sure Mama was next to him. Then we woke up like little angels right at 7:30am this morning.

My new favorite thing is putting objects like popsicle sticks and Hanukkah candles behind the radiator. I got in big trouble with Mama a couple times. We watched "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2" which we both liked (especially Lars), got more Hanukkah presents (my favorite was a foam puzzle- I like stacking up the pieces), and Lars and I both munched on mixed greens, pomegranate and other new foods.
